Job Title: Pharmacy DirectorJob Description

The Director of Pharmacy Operations oversees and owns the outcomes of all operational aspects of the Pharmacy, ensuring optimal performance of people, processes, and systems. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, upholding ACHC specialty accreditation, and aligning operations with the organization’s mission to improve healthcare access and outcomes in the community. The role involves managing three staff pharmacists and seven pharmacy technicians while reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer. Additionally, you will serve as the 'face' of the pharmacy at local events.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee all operational aspects of the pharmacy to ensure optimal performance.

+ Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

+ Uphold ACHC specialty accreditation standards.

+ Manage a team of three staff pharmacists and seven pharmacy technicians.

+ Align pharmacy operations with the organization’s mission to improve healthcare access and outcomes.

+ Serve as the public representative of the pharmacy at local events.

Essential Skills

+ Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.

+ Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business/Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics.

+ 10 years of pharmacy experience, including specialty pharmacy.

+ 10 years of leadership and/or operations experience within a pharmacy setting.

+ Strong business and entrepreneurial skills.

+ Comfortable with managing profit/loss tables and calculating EBITDA.

+ Pharmacist must be ACHC accredited.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience with pharmacy ACHC accreditation process preferred.

+ Prior utilization of QS1 software preferred.

+ PharmD qualification.

+ Strong cultural competency.

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic pharmacy located in Oakland Park, FL. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The company offers 4% year-over-year merit increases and an annual bonus based on objectives/initiatives, ranging from 10-12% of the annual salary. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA plans, and employer-funded STD, LTD, and basic life insurance. Voluntary life, accident, hospital, and critical illness insurance are employee-funded.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
