Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
+ Schedule patient visits and room patients.
+ Take patient's vitals and document them in the EMR system.
+ Clean and sanitize treatment areas after patient visits.
+ Check inventory for oxygen tanks, food supplies, and medical equipment, and place orders as needed.
+ Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients.
Essential Skills
+ Medical assisting and phlebotomy skills.
+ Experience working with oncology patients.
+ Proficiency in EMR systems.
+ Ability to handle high patient volumes.
+ Close attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Active Certification in Medical Assisting preferred but not required.
+ CPR and BLS certification required.
+ High School degree or GED.
+ 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Phlebotomy skills highly desired.
+ Experience handling difficult patients and situations.
+ A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to help others.
Work Environment
The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with no weekend shifts. We offer full benefits, including medical, vision, and dental, a 401k plan, tuition reimbursement for full-time employees, and paid holidays, including the Friday after Thanksgiving. While on contract, you will be offered six paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
