Job Title: Process Operator

Job Description

The Process Operator will play a crucial role in the chemical mixing and encapsulation process. This role involves measuring, mixing, weighing, and documenting production runs while adhering to GMP regulations. The operator will be responsible for cleaning the production suite once a production run or campaign is complete.

Responsibilities

+ Set up the fluid bed unit by understanding part names and assembling the pump system.

+ Run equipment and units, receiving comprehensive training in this area.

+ Disassemble and clean units after production is complete.

+ Handle and move heavy bags and drums of raw materials, with team lifting as necessary.

+ Operate computers to take readings, monitor temperature and mixing speed, oversee pumps, and document timestamps.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience in a GMP or food/pharmaceutical environment involving chemical mixing and SOP adherence.

+ Experience in documenting production runs, including weights, temperature checks, and mixing speed.

+ Proficiency in math, specifically with decimals, for chemical addition and calculations.

+ High attention to detail, verified through references.

+ High School diploma.

+ Reliable work history with no attendance issues, verified through references.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom setting where operators must have dedicated shoes for facility use and wear provided uniforms, including lab coats, hairnets, and booties. Candidates must be comfortable working with hazardous chemicals, including narcotics and other pharmaceutical compounds. Operators work in separate production suites to prevent cross-contamination, with all suites requiring power washing and sanitization post-production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
