    Job Title: Grading & Utilities Estimator

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented and drivenGrading/Utilities Estimatorto join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and managing budgets that keep our projects on track and within scope. Your expertise in sitework estimating, cost control, and contract negotiation will directly contribute to the success of high-impact infrastructure and development projects.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Collect and analyze data to prepare detailed cost estimates and feasibility reports.

    + Provide technical guidance to architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.

    + Evaluate contract performance and ensure quality standards are met.

    + Make informed decisions on budgeting, estimating, and resource allocation.

    + Collaborate with construction teams to align estimates with project goals.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building components, materials, and construction methods.

    What You Bring:

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating for grading and/or utility projects.

    + Proficiency inAgtek,HCSS, andBluebeam.

    + Strong understanding of federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.

    + Solid background in civil estimating and cost control.

    + Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

    Bonus Skills:

    + Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

    + Familiarity with construction scheduling and project planning.

    + A proactive mindset and attention to detail.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $48.00/hr.
