Job Title: Quality Control TechnicianJob Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will execute tasks associated with sample management, shipment of samples, and other lab support QC functions. You will work cross-functionally with personnel from other QC groups, Quality Assurance, Analytical Development, Manufacturing, Material Management (MM), and Corporate teams.
Responsibilities
+ Manage samples and oversee their shipment.
+ Support various lab functions related to quality control.
+ Collaborate with personnel from QC groups, Quality Assurance, Analytical Development, Manufacturing, Material Management, and Corporate teams.
+ Apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the QC lab.
+ Maintain exceptional attention to detail and track multiple ongoing projects.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and other related applications.
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
+ Bachelor’s Degree OR AA Degree with 2+ years' experience in Quality Control or biopharma laboratories preferably in an FDA regulated laboratory OR High School Degree with 3+ years' experience in the same field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong knowledge in applying GMP in QC lab.
+ Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment.
+ Ability to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
+ Flexible with schedule and able to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment
The team operates 7 days a week with an extended, overlapping shift structure in a laboratory setting. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability to changing priorities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
