Sr. Software Engineer - UnrealJob Description

As a Software Engineer specializing in Unreal Engine, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions from concept to implementation. You will be responsible for designing and developing Unreal Engine applications and advanced immersive technologies. Collaborating closely with a team of experts in a dynamic environment, you will tackle complex challenges, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with various real-time platforms. Your contributions will help drive the evolution of spatial computing, enhancing user experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in this exciting field.

Responsibilities

+ Solve complex problems in real-time systems using Unreal Engine, sensor fusion, simulation, and spatial computing.

+ Contribute to the design and development of innovative solutions for client projects and internal products.

+ Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive project success and enhance client experiences.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience and Deep experience working in the Unreal Engine and several native features such as Replication, Mass, and Chaos.

+ Proficiency in C++ programming from scratch and Blueprints Visual Scripting.

+ Experience in training, simulation, and gaming industries.

+ Familiarity with various headsets including Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, Apple Vision Pro.

+ Experience in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a high-autonomy startup environment, showcasing adaptability and discipline.

+ Enthusiasm for innovation in immersive experiences and a drive to constantly push creative boundaries.

Work Environment

Due to the nature of the work being completed, must be able to comply with government regulations. Our projects involve hands-on work with specialized hardware at our lab, so it's essential that you reside in or near the Orlando, FL area and can commute as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.
