    Overview:

    We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and certification of UL 891-compliant switchgear and switchboard systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled engineer with deep expertise in low-voltage power distribution and a passion for delivering safe, reliable, and innovative solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead the end-to-end design and development of low-voltage switchgear and switchboard systems.

    + Ensure compliance with UL 891, ANSI, IEEE, and NEC standards.

    + Oversee product certification processes and support testing and validation.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.

    + Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best practices.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in switchgear/switchboard design, preferably in a UL 891-compliant environment.

    + Strong understanding of low-voltage power distribution, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash mitigation.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.

    + Familiarity with relevant standards: UL 891, ANSI, IEEE, and NEC.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Electromechanical design

    + Control panel design

    + Mechanical and electrical integration

    + Experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks

    + Leadership and supervision of engineering teams

    + Process development and continuous improvement

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $67.03/hr.
