• Field Service Engineer

    Actalent (Willoughby, OH)


    Job Description

    The Field Service Engineer will help the Engineering team to test, troubleshoot, install, and commission machines for our customers. You will also help with services our current machines in the field.

    Duties will include:

    - Traveling to customer sites

     

    - Troubleshooting Allen Bradley (mostly) and some Siemens PLC's and drives

     

    - Installing and Commissioning automation machinery into the mills

    - No programming from scratch, but will be trained on how to do that to be more proficient

    **Mostly motors/drives experience (75%) and 25% PLC experience

     

    Must Have

     

    - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field) and 2-3 years of field experience OR an Associates Degree in Electrical (or a similar field) and 5 years of field experience

     

    - Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's or a similar type of PLC

     

    - Experience with either Allen Bradley, Siemens, or ABB drives

     

    Nice to Have

    -Siemens experience

    -Metal, steel, or aluminum industry experience

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.08/hr.
