Tooling Technician to support our engineering and production teams by designing, fabricating, and maintaining high-precision tooling solutions. This role is critical to ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and continuous improvement in tooling performance.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design & Fabrication

+ Develop custom tooling, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering specifications and production requirements.

+ Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to determine optimal materials, machining processes, and tool geometry.

+ Machining Operations

+ Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and saws.

+ Operate CNC mills, wire EDM, and RAM EDM equipment to produce precision tooling components.

+ Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure efficient, accurate, and repeatable machining.

+ Quality Assurance

+ Inspect and verify tooling dimensions using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and height gauges.

+ Ensure all tooling meets quality standards and tolerances required for production.

+ Collaboration & Innovation

+ Work closely with engineering and production teams to conceptualize, refine, and troubleshoot tooling solutions.

+ Provide input on design improvements and contribute to continuous process optimization.

+ Workplace Standards

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and safety protocols.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support tooling and manufacturing operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
