Senior Medicare Coverage Analyst

As a Senior Medicare Coverage Analyst, you will mentor and train junior staff, ensuring their work aligns with the accuracy required in Medicare coverage analysis. You will serve as the expert on Medicare policies, specifically NCD/LCD, and create detailed coverage analyses for complex studies. Additionally, you will communicate policy updates to the team and collaborate with study teams, investigators, and sponsors to manage timelines, resolve protocol issues, and prioritize urgent amendments.

Responsibilities

+ Train junior staff and review their work for accuracy in Medicare coverage analysis.

+ Act as the expert on Medicare policies, specifically NCD/LCD.

+ Create detailed coverage analyses for complex studies.

+ Communicate Medicare policy updates to the team.

+ Coordinate with study teams, investigators, and sponsors to manage timelines.

+ Resolve protocol issues and prioritize urgent amendments.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in clinical trials.

+ Experience in oncology.

+ Knowledge of medical billing and billing compliance.

+ Understanding of Medicare coverage policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in billing compliance.

+ Proficiency in Medicare coverage analysis.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. You will be part of the Research Finance department, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals. The role involves handling high-volume and complex oncology studies, supporting approximately 1,100 studies, including around 700 treatment interventional studies. The position processes 50–75 amendments regularly, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $55.00/hr.
