Job Title: Support Engineering Data SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Support Engineering Data Specialist to develop all publication elements for various levels of maintenance concerning major equipment systems or multiple subsystems. This role requires expertise in creating flight manuals, testing and troubleshooting procedures, illustrated parts breakdown, removal and installation procedures, and schematic diagrams. Additionally, the specialist will resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies, provide art mark-ups, and update publication elements based on reviews and equipment modifications.

Responsibilities

+ Develop publication elements for maintenance of major equipment systems and subsystems.

+ Create flight manuals, testing and troubleshooting procedures, and schematic diagrams.

+ Resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originators.

+ Provide art mark-ups for publication elements.

+ Update publication elements based on internal and external reviews, source data changes, and equipment modifications.

+ Collect, research, and analyze source data, including equipment requirements, maintenance concepts, task analysis, and documentation workflows.

+ Identify source data inaccuracies and take corrective action.

+ Validate assumptions made in source data.

+ Conduct peer reviews of completed publication elements for technical accuracy and compliance with customer format standards.

+ Support customer verification reviews and implement corrective actions based on outcomes.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Familiarity with eXtensible Markup Language (XML).

+ Knowledge of Contenta software.

+ Experience with S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manual publication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years' related work experience or equivalent, such as a Master's degree with 1 year of related work experience, or 7 years of related work experience.

Work Environment

The role involves working with advanced technologies and equipment in a dynamic environment. The position may require flexibility in hours and shifts to meet project demands. Professional attire is expected in accordance with workplace standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
