Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Structural Revit Technician to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality structural drawings using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools, supporting the delivery of engineering solutions across a wide range of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit

+ Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and documentation for building structures including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

+ Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other technicians to ensure models and drawings meet project specifications

+ Implement and adhere to company and industry BIM standards and protocols

+ Participate in clash detection and resolve coordination issues through collaboration

+ Manage drawing revisions, updates, and file organization throughout project lifecycles

Requirements

+ Associate degree or diploma in drafting, design technology, or a related field

+ Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a structural drafting or BIM technician role

+ Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools

+ Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction documentation

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects

+ Familiarity with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM-enhancing software

+ Basic knowledge of structural engineering codes and practices

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
