    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental inspections, particularly in identifying and assessing lead-based paint hazards. This role requires a combination of technical

     

    expertise, fieldwork, and client communication.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and state regulations.

    + Collect environmental samples (paint, dust, soil, water) and ensure proper chain of custody.

    + Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to clients and project managers.

    + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

    + Train and mentor junior inspectors as needed.

    + Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.

    Qualifications

    + EPA-certified Lead Inspector and Lead Dust Sampling Technician Certification

    + Minimum 2-4 years of experience in environmental inspections or related field.

    + Strong knowledge of federal and state lead regulations.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

    + Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Additional certifications (e.g., Asbestos Inspector, Mold Assessor).

    + Experience with XRF analyzers and environmental sampling equipment.

    + Familiarity with HUD guidelines and housing authority protocols.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
