    Are you a strategic marketer with deep advertising expertise and a passion for inclusive storytelling? As a Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role managing some of Vanguard’s most visible and ambitious national brand marketing and advertising campaigns. We’re seeking a strategic and action-oriented marketing professional with deep advertising expertise to lead inclusive, high-impact campaigns from concept to completion. In this role, you’ll partner across the Brand team and manage the full campaign lifecycle—including strategy, creative development, execution, and measurement—collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop leading-edge creative ideas.

     

    You’ll champion inclusive marketing by ensuring campaigns resonate with diverse audiences and reflect our values of equity and representation. Success in this role requires strong agency experience, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a proactive mindset that balances stakeholder needs with business goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Independently initiates and / or leads marketing programs, initiatives, promotions or research projects.

    + Creates marketing plans by translating business objectives into defined marketing goals, strategies, and tactics. Aligns marketing activity with deep understanding of sales strategy and targeted market.

    + Provides guidance and consultation on marketing best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Directs marketing plans well-informed by the competitive landscape and suited for the regulatory environment.

    + Serves as a trusted advisor and internal expert to ensure the right solution is developed for various partners. Proactively communicates status and issues of marketing activity regularly to stakeholders, including sales professionals, business leaders, team members, and senior managers.

    + Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal department and external departments stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

    + Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks on marketing activities. Communicates solutions on key issues on marketing activity to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

    + Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Five years related work experience, Two years of marketing experience.

    + Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
