    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for operating molding, machining, casting, and various manufacturing machines. The role involves rotating between different machines and processes, placing proper inserts on the mold table for forming, and filling boxes with sand in a warm environment. Operators will use hand tools to remove molds, trim flash from parts according to work orders, and perform visual inspections of parts for flaws or defects. You will be required to stack and palletize all products for quality control and occasionally operate a forklift. This position requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the day and maintain a focus on quality control and careful machine operation at all times.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate molding, machining, casting, and other manufacturing machines.

    + Rotate between various machines and processes.

    + Place proper inserts on the mold table for forming.

    + Fill and pack boxes with sand in a warm environment.

    + Use hand tools to remove molds and trim flash from parts.

    + Conduct visual inspections of parts for flaws or defects.

    + Stack and palletize products for quality control.

    + Lift up to 100 lbs throughout the day.

    + Occasionally operate a forklift.

    + Maintain quality control and careful machine operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operation experience.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience in production, manufacturing, and general labor.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 12 months of machine operation experience or related.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

    + Experience with pneumatic tools, fabrication, and concrete work.

    + Skills in carpentry, heavy-duty equipment operation, skid steer, and material handling.

    Work Environment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LE SUEUR, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
