Job Title: Charter Sales Manager
Job Description
The Charter Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the sales team, from recruitment and training to performance management and strategic planning. This role requires a strong leader who can align teams with company values, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive revenue growth through data-driven strategies and cross-department collaboration. The manager will oversee client relationships, aircraft utilization, and charter sales while ensuring a seamless customer-centric experience.
Responsibilities
+ Recruit, select, onboard, and train new sales and operations personnel.
+ Mentor, support, discipline, and terminate personnel as warranted.
+ Work according to company culture and values, adhering to and enforcing all company policies, processes, and procedures.
+ Collaborate with Higher management on policy or procedure updates and revisions as warranted.
+ Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
+ Analyze sales data and develop plans to address performance gaps.
+ Collaborate with marketing and the executive team to develop lead generation plans.
+ Work with higher management to set revenue and sales goals.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences.
+ Continually update and maintain an accurate customer preference database.
+ Maintain strong relationships with the existing customer base.
+ Engage and motivate the sales team to increase performance.
+ Ensure the sales and flight support teams work as a positive unit and share best practices.
+ Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
+ Provide expertise when adjusting pricing and discounting rates.
+ Ensure the sales team works cross-functionally with other departments.
+ Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations and Company approved manuals.
+ Ensure efficient aircraft and crew utilization to achieve the highest profit margin on each flight.
+ Manage all functions of the Charter Sales team.
+ Demonstrate leadership that embodies the spirit of teamwork between all departments and management.

+ Thorough knowledge of Air Traffic Control, Weather, NOTAMS, Flight planning
+ Thorough understanding of aircraft performance and direct operating costs
+ Thorough understanding of worldwide flight planning
+ Proficient in macOS, iWork (Pages, Numbers, iCal)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field
+ 5+ years aviation experience, preferably Part 135 or 121
+ FAR Part 121 Dispatch License strongly preferred
+ 5+ years experience in FAR Part 135 or Part 121 sales and/or operations
+ Previous CRM, FL3XX, Avinode software experience

Work Environment
This is not a remote position, requiring work from the office based in Las Vegas, NV. The role necessitates the ability to stand or sit for long periods and flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Benefits include 6% matching on 401(k) plans
Subsidized medical, dental and vision coverage
Compensation is reviewed annually
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Las Vegas,NV.
