Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Workers in the manufacturing of magnet wire products. This role involves the complete manufacturing process, from handling raw materials to the final packaging of finished products. Candidates will operate automated machines, troubleshoot basic machine issues, and ensure quality control by sampling and documenting processes. The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology in a clean and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
+ Handle raw materials to prepare for production.
+ Feed raw wire into the production line as required.
+ Understand and apply specifications from sheets to set up machines.
+ Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
+ Pull enamel samples for quality control.
+ Monitor the production line using HMI touchscreen.
+ Document in-process updates by hand.
+ Use overhead crane to move finished spools of wire.
+ Operate forklift to store finished products in the warehouse.
+ Ensure safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to work safely and without consistent supervision.
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
+ Strong tenure at previous employers.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Open mind to being trained on a forklift.
+ Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial.
+ Good soft skills and willingness to be trained.
+ Forklift certification is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment
Our facility boasts a clean and traditional manufacturing environment, though it can be loud and hot in certain areas. We are expanding with new warehouse additions and production lines. Employees will work on a 2/2/3 schedule, with shifts from 8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM. Dress code is casual, reflecting our commitment to comfort and safety. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
