Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage materials and parts within our warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Count, prepare, issue, deliver, retrieve, assemble, and package parts and materials for processing to other departments.

+ Use carts and pallet movers to locate parts and materials.

+ Hand load parts onto shelves as needed.

+ Utilize drawings, diagrams, part replacement manuals, and item master descriptions to correctly identify parts and materials.

+ Generate necessary documents related to material handling.

+ Maintain a clean and efficient work area free of bins and pallets.

+ Move materials using hand carts or electric vehicles.

+ Drive and operate forklifts and pallet movers to locate parts and materials (may or may not be required for specific roles).

+ Coordinate with department supervision regarding material handling priorities.

+ Participate in cross-training and work in various locations, including the yard, stockroom, or receiving.

Essential Skills

+ Material handling and inventory management

+ Order pulling and picking

+ Forklift operation with at least 6 months of experience

+ Ability to stand and walk throughout the day

+ Capacity to lift 50lbs or more

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency with RF scanners

+ Experience with packing and loading

+ Familiarity with pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks

+ General labor skills

Work Environment

The role is set in a non-climate controlled warehouse/manufacturing environment. At times, you will be exposed to the weather when working outdoors. The facility is equipped with a broad portfolio of proven electric utility vehicles, personnel carriers, burden carriers, and tow tractors, fostering a fast-paced and labor-intensive work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
