Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift Highreach Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to supply assemblers with materials for production and transport completed parts for shipping. This role involves operating high reach forklifts depending on the designated area. Additionally, the position may require work in the shipping and receiving area to load trucks for delivery.

Responsibilities

+ Supply assemblers with necessary materials for production.

+ Transport completed parts to shipping for delivery.

+ Operate high reach and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

+ Work in the shipping and receiving area to load trucks.

+ Ensure safety and attention to detail in tight quarters with multiple forklifts and personnel.

Essential Skills

+ Proven ability to operate high reach forklifts safely and effectively.

+ Experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Successful completion of a forklift test.

+ Ability to work in a unionized environment and pay union dues.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and customer-focused with tight quarters requiring strong attention to safety. The facility is not climate-controlled, meaning it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. It is a union environment where candidates will be required to pay union dues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $19.21/hr.
