    **Shift:** 7am - 4:30pm (M-F)

    **Pay:** $16 **-** $17/hr

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Assembler. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for building and assembling large pumps used in firetrucks using blueprints, schematics, and a variety of tools and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble and install components using blueprints, schematics, and standard mechanical practices.

    + Perform basic fitting, wiring, and mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and finished products.

    + Use hand tools, power tools, presses, cranes, hoists, and other equipment to complete tasks.

    + Inspect and test components using measuring instruments and test fixtures.

    + Document defective products and maintain accurate logs and records.

    + Report supply needs and ensure inventory levels are maintained.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    + Transport products and equipment to designated work areas.

    + Detect and correct errors, make repairs and adjustments to pass inspection.

    + Clean and perform minor repairs on assembly equipment.

    Required Skills:

    + Hand tools and power tools

    + Blueprint and schematic reading

    + Mechanical assembly and installation

    + Pneumatics

    + Measuring instruments (e.g., measuring tape, torque tools)

    + Cranes, hoists, presses

    Qualifications:

    + Strong mechanical aptitude

    + Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions

    + Attention to detail and quality control

    + Ability to lift and move heavy components

    + Excellent documentation and communication skills

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
