Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for handling all machine repair duties during the 3rd shift. The role involves repairing SMT and final assembly machines and equipment. The technician will work Sunday through Thursday from 11pm to 7am and will train on the first shift for a couple of weeks from 7am to 3pm.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
+ Perform routine preventive maintenance as per checklists to ensure smooth machine operation and efficient system functionality.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
+ Diagnose mechanical problems, determine corrective actions, and document maintenance and repair work performed.
+ Train and advise operators and technicians on operation procedures and safety requirements for electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
+ Inform management of potential electrical/mechanical safety issues and inherent dangers.
+ Maintain performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
+ Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
+ Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical, and electronic components.
+ Coordinate with vendors for necessary outside repairs and new equipment needs, and submit purchase orders as needed.
+ Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
+ Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
+ Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments.
+ Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
+ Perform other duties related to schematic, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Essential Skills
+ At least 5 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment.
+ Previous experience repairing SMT related equipment and electronic manufacturing.
+ Ability to read and use schematics for troubleshooting Printed Circuit Assemblies.
+ Capability to work independently, handling preventive maintenance and troubleshooting down machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment components.
+ Ability to operate machine tools for repair or fabrication.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
