Job Title: Team Lead

Job Description

The Team Lead is responsible for coordinating production activities and assigning tasks to team members. This role requires both leadership and hands-on involvement, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with Plant GMP standards. The Team Lead will work closely with the Manufacturing Leader to identify and support continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate production and assign work activities to team members.

+ Serve as a working team lead, performing physical tasks alongside the team when needed.

+ Enforce Plant GMP standards and address any violations appropriately.

+ Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Manufacturing Leader.

+ Conduct regular audits of QA documentation to ensure accuracy and completion.

+ Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with GMP standards.

+ Oversee a team of 15 - 30 people.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual skills are a plus.

+ Previous experience in food production is desirable.

+ Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.

+ Proven leadership experience.

Work Environment

The work environment follows GMP standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance. The position involves shift work, with 2nd Shift hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 am and 3rd Shift hours from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday through Friday, expecting 40-50 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $53040.00/yr.
