    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate who will play a crucial role in our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, rotating, and inspecting products to ensure their safe transportation and storage, all while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, the associate will process goods into the warehouse and may also be responsible for packaging goods for both domestic and international shipments.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately, consistently, and safely follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket or putting new product away in storage in a highly detailed aviation parts warehouse environment.

    + Operate forklift, pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.

    + Accurately inventory, identify, and select small, specific parts from inventory locations.

    + Fulfill all data entry requirements into Warehouse Management System accurately.

    + Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO (First in First out) method.

    + Hand stack product in a specific sequence and location inside a box or package for domestic and international shipment.

    + Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage.

    + Return undelivered or mis-picked products to their proper inventory locations.

    + Transport product from storage area to designated shipping area in the facility within expected time.

    + Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.

    + Observe safe product handling techniques and cooperate with supervisors and peers.

    + Adhere to the attendance policy by arriving on time and completing shifts based on business demands.

    + Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE as required.

    + Engage in 5S and lean activities as directed by warehouse management.

    + Various other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + Experience in picking and packing.

    + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to perform various tasks of the job, including but not limited to reading labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, and understanding oral and written instructions.

    + Experience as a warehouse associate operating powered equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

    + Ability to pass compliance and drug test requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with Zebra scanners is a plus.

    + Previous work in an aviation maintenance or parts warehouse is preferred.

    + Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the shift; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting between 20 to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodation.

    + 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.

    The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse within a new facility, ensuring comfort throughout your shift. Employees can enjoy a nice break room and will be expected to work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
