Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the overall Production System as well as company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to ensure a reliable production platform.

+ Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.

+ Manage machine uptime and downtime.

+ Support Kaizen and other related activities.

+ Maintain hydraulic equipment, including metal presses.

+ Schedule daily documents.

+ Utilize PLC knowledge for logging in (no editing required).

+ Read and interpret industrial electrical schematics.

+ Understand servo motion.

+ Work with complex equipment assembly knowledge.

+ Offer suggestions for countermeasures for Kaizen activities.

+ Continually use good interpersonal skills.

+ Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Essential Skills

+ 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.

+ Knowledge of metal stamping presses (strongly preferred).

+ High School diploma or GED required.

+ Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree preferred.

+ PLC training.

+ Circuit motion experience.

+ Formal hydraulic training.

+ Ability to work with minimum supervision.

+ Basic writing and comprehension skills.

+ Field sketching for fabrication.

+ Robotics and automated welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in maintenance technician roles.

+ Skills in hydraulics maintenance and press maintenance.

+ Troubleshooting skills in PLCs, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.

+ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.

+ Experience in welding and fabrication within the automotive industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74672.00 - $81099.00/yr.
