    Job Title: HVAC Installer

    Job Description

    As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for performing HVAC installation work primarily for residential customers in and around Oakland County. You will typically handle 1-2 installations per day, focusing on installing AC units, furnaces, ducts, or thermostats. This role also involves discussing and educating customers about AOR work, handling payments upon completion of services, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed while working inside and outside customer homes.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform HVAC installations for residential properties, primarily within Oakland County.

    + Install AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats.

    + Educate customers on AOR work and handle service payments.

    + Adhere to safety protocols while working inside and outside customer homes.

    + Operate and maintain a service van provided by the company.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1+ years of residential HVAC installation work (AOR or new construction).

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience for a lead role.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance.

    + Valid driver's license and good driving record.

    + EPA Certification.

    + Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

    + Experience in brazing or welding.

    + Blueprint reading capability.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in commercial HVAC service.

    + Familiarity with Carrier equipment.

    + Nexstar Training is a huge plus.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a dynamic environment that includes commercial and residential projects, with 10-20% commercial, 30% new construction, and 50-60% residential work. The role involves traveling from site to site in a company vehicle.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Oakland County, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
