    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role involves working on CNC Brake presses, turrets, lasers, powder coating, tube mills, and shears. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, basic electrical troubleshooting abilities, with PLC troubleshooting as a desirable skill.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, presses, and other equipment.

    + Conduct electrical maintenance up to 480v 3-phase, utilizing voltmeters and troubleshooting electrical errors.

    + Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and interpret schematics.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

    + Troubleshoot and maintain CNC and manual machinery in the toolroom.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.

    + Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and presses.

    + Experience in electrical maintenance up to 480v 3-phase.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PLC troubleshooting with an understanding of ladder logic.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a tube mill and fabrication shop with various presses, lasers, shears, and metal fabrication equipment. The toolroom is equipped with a range of CNC and manual machinery including Wire EDM, Mill, Lathe, and Boring Mill. The facility is notably clean and well-lit compared to typical fabrication shops.

    This is a Permanent position based out of ELKHART, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
