Job Title: General Production Worker 15-17hr, All Shifts

Job Description

Join our team to assist with various general labor tasks in the manufacturing of counterweights and steel products. Your role will involve unloading products off machines and preparing them for shipment, as well as assisting with material handling as needed. Adherence to all applicable safety policies and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

+ Unload product off machine and prep for shipment.

+ Assist with material handling as needed.

+ Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Knowledge of construction processes.

+ Proficiency in assembly techniques.

+ Ability to use measurement tools effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to working overtime (at least 5 hours per week).

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift.

+ Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility operates on three shifts: 7AM - 3:30PM, 3PM - 11PM, and 10:30PM - 7AM. The environment involves heavy steel work, is dirty, and not well lit. We employ a mix of new and old equipment, with a team of 50+ full-time workers and approximately 120 people in production, both full-time and temporary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00/hr.
