Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

As a Laborer, you will assist in preparing and setting up casting beds for concrete pours and install rebar, forms, inserts, and other hardware according to blueprints and production drawings. You will operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently, clean and maintain work areas, including stripping forms and removing debris, and support concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes. The role involves following all safety protocols and company procedures and performing physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in preparing and setting up casting beds for concrete pours.

+ Install rebar, forms, inserts, and other hardware according to blueprints and production drawings.

+ Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

+ Clean and maintain work areas, including stripping forms and removing debris.

+ Support concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes.

+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

+ Perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

+ Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to work outside year-round in all weather conditions.

+ Comfortable working around heavy equipment and industrial machinery.

+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.

+ Dependability and ability to follow instructions.

+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous construction or concrete experience preferred.

+ Candidates must have at least one year of experience working on commercial projects.

+ Experience in masonry is a plus.

+ Candidates must have their own basic tools.

+ Strong attendance records.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
