Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team, primarily working with structural and non-structural pieces. The role involves MIG welding, particularly with aluminum, and custom welding on frames for greenhouses. The successful candidate will also participate in the fabrication process, cutting and prepping metals for shipment, and supporting general shop activities.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on aluminum and structural steel pieces.

+ Engage in custom welding for greenhouse frame construction.

+ Assist in metal fabrication, including cutting and prepping metals for shipment.

+ Travel for local work Monday through Friday across MN, WI, IA, ND, SD, NB, with potential for 50% travel.

+ Ensure adherence to schedules and timely completion of projects.

+ Utilize hand and power tools, including tape measures, drills, and hammers, for greenhouse construction.

+ Work off blueprints daily and potentially perform welding tasks as required.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious and clean 10,000 square-foot shop equipped with a large exhaust machine. While steel-toed boots are not required, they are highly recommended. The work attire consists of jeans and a t-shirt, fostering a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
