    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to manage inbound and outbound operations, including loading and unloading trucks, picking full pallets, and ensuring products are properly stored. You will be working with FDA-regulated products where quality is paramount, requiring attention to detail and adherence to GMP/SOPs.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate Stand Up forklift efficiently to handle inbound and outbound logistics.

    + Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring product integrity.

    + Pick full pallets and store products accurately within the warehouse.

    + Maintain attention to detail, especially when dealing with FDA-regulated products.

    + Identify and correct mistakes promptly, ensuring compliance with GMP/SOPs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating a stand-up forklift.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Proficiency in computer and RF scanner operations.

    + Stable work history demonstrating reliability and consistency.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is a bonus.

    + SAP/Inventory experience is advantageous.

    + Experience with reach truck and electric pallet jack.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large, semi-climate controlled 500,000 square ft. warehouse with 40 employees. The facility is air-conditioned in the summer, but maintains product-specific temperatures in winter. This distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing offers a dynamic environment where quality and precision are critical.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
