Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of over 20 high-end CNC machines by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Your role will include lubrication, inspection, diagnosing issues, and replacing or repairing faulty components. You will collaborate with machinery companies for repair or replacement part ordering and set up formal preventative maintenance schedules. Your work will adhere to safety regulations, and you will work closely with equipment operators to address factory needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain over 20 pieces of high-end CNC equipment in good working order through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

+ Perform lubrication, inspection, diagnose issues, and replace or repair faulty components.

+ Collaborate with machinery companies for repair or replacement part ordering.

+ Set up and implement formal preventative maintenance schedules.

+ Ensure all work performed adheres to safety regulations.

+ Collaborate with equipment operators to meet factory needs and requirements.

+ Understand basic installation of new machinery.

+ Demonstrate a good aptitude for mechanical systems, electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

+ Exhibit physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various positions.

+ Possess basic knowledge of welding.

+ Demonstrate basic computer skills.

+ Willingness to undergo training one week per year at a distance.

+ Ability to find parts and source replacements.

+ Perform physical building/plant maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Good aptitude for electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Proficiency in computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as an electrician or in HVAC is a plus.

+ CNC maintenance experience is beneficial.

+ Welding skills are advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
