Job Title: Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Painter to join our team, responsible for painting truck caps. This role involves preparing products for paint application, operating pneumatic spray painting equipment, and performing tasks that require standing for the duration of the shift with arms raised to shoulder height for extended periods. Candidates will wear a full respirator suit, pass a respirator fit test, and perform filter changes.

Responsibilities

+ Stand for the duration of the shift with arms raised to shoulder height.

+ Wear a full respirator suit and pass a respirator fit test.

+ Perform filter changes as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2+ years of experience in industrial or residential spray painting with pneumatic sprayers.

+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift with arms at shoulder height.

+ Capability to stoop, crawl, bend, and climb as needed.

+ Ability to take and pass a respirator fit test.

Work Environment

The role operates in a non-climate controlled fiberglass plant with a noticeable paint odor. Employees must wear steel-toed or composite-toed shoes. The hours are Monday to Friday from 3pm to 12:30am, with every other Saturday required as needed, averaging two Saturdays per month. There is an additional $2.50/hr shift premium for working the 2nd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.50/hr.
