    Job Title: Mold Technician

    Job Description

    We manufacture various consumer products, including toothbrushes, drones, and plastic pieces for the agricultural industry. As a Mold Technician, you will provide technical support and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient production of plastic parts. This role involves setting up and removing molds from injection molding presses, including cleaning and inspecting mold components before replacement.

    Responsibilities

    + Organize work for smooth operations of mold setup and removal from injection molding machines.

    + Set up and use secondary equipment such as sonic welders, conveyor belts, thermolators, drill presses, gate cutters, and various other tools.

    + Perform preliminary troubleshooting of processes as directed by the shift supervisor or mold technician.

    + Analyze mechanical and operational problems and take corrective actions.

    + Maintain a thorough understanding of all equipment.

    + Advise on necessary repairs for tooling and equipment.

    + Create work orders through IQMS to report problems to the appropriate personnel.

    + Maintain mold storage areas and mold identification.

    + Safely operate overhead cranes and report any maintenance or safety issues.

    + Perform operations safely to prevent accidents.

    + Execute lockout/tagout procedures.

    + Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

    Work Environment

     

    Join a team of 115 employees where you will be one of two mold setters on the third shift. The third shift operates from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. Enjoy the benefits of working in a climate-controlled facility where you can wear shorts, tennis shoes, and t-shirts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
