Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for performing a variety of technical duties related to mechanical, electrical, preventive maintenance, and fabrication functions.

Please Note:** **The posted pay is the lower pay scale for the company, this is the baseline. If you are targeting a higher dollar amount and have the skills/experience to meet those requirements, higher pay is definitely an option and would be a great interview opportunity.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot equipment issues in a production environment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.

+ Provide support in areas of fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting, and machining.

+ Work from oral and written instructions.

+ Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures.

+ Maintain adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

+ Assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with pneumatics and industrial maintenance.

+ Ability to repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.

+ Knowledge of blueprint and PLC troubleshooting.

+ Familiarity with 3-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Capability to work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.

+ Ability to perform extended amounts of walking.

+ Experience in basic fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, pipefitting, and machining.

Work Environment

Work within a small maintenance team where collaboration and teamwork are key. The role requires physical activity, including working off ladders and scaffolds, and involves a range of hands-on tasks in a production setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Full time perm benefits for all employees
