Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Description

Join a dynamic team that specializes in custom fabrication, focusing on saw dust collection and disposal systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in shipping and receiving to manage the flow of components and parts necessary for production.

Responsibilities

+ Receive incoming components and parts for the fabrication team in accordance with ASME guidelines.

+ Utilize inventory and shipping programs to ensure accurate tracking and management of goods.

+ Organize materials and maintain a high level of attention to detail during the shipping and receiving process.

+ Operate sit-down forklifts efficiently to load and unload trucks.

+ Palletize materials and ensure smooth handling of all shipments.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in shipping and receiving for at least 2 years.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in inventory management systems.

+ Experience in material handling and loading trucks.

Work Environment

Work in a custom fabrication shop that caters to both large-scale and small custom jobs. With a workforce of around 40-50 employees, this family-run shop offers a collaborative and supportive environment. The day shift operates from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandy, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
