Job Title: General Production Worker - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and motivated General Production Worker for our 1st Shift. This role involves processing and packaging castings according to customer specifications or supervisor instructions. You will be responsible for safely using various hand tools to remove metal from castings and ensuring compliance with specifications through air grinding operations.

Responsibilities

+ Process and package castings as per specifications or supervisor instructions.

+ Safely operate hand-held high-speed abrasive tools, files, and hammers to remove metal from castings.

+ Verify conformance to specifications during air grinding operations.

+ Maintain equipment by changing belts and lubrication as necessary.

+ Keep the work area clean and organized.

+ Participate actively in team activities focused on process and safety improvements.

Essential Skills

+ General labor skills with no prior experience required.

+ Ability to assemble components and operate hand tools and machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.

+ Ability to work a physically demanding position.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
