Job Title: 1st Shift Production Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic production company specializing in the manufacture of grout and concrete as a long-term general production worker. This role involves ensuring product quality and maintaining efficient operations.

Responsibilities

+ Measure and inspect products for defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.

+ Load, unload, and transport materials and finished products using a forklift.

+ Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.

+ Follow all safety regulations and workplace procedures.

Essential Skills

+ General production experience

+ Machine operation proficiency

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks

+ Competency in loading and forklift operation

+ Skill in inspection and measurement

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

+ Comfort with cross-training in multiple departments

+ Basic math and measuring skills

Work Environment

Work in an industrial setting with a commitment to safety, requiring steel-toed shoes and provided PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, and respiratory masks. The position is for 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Be prepared to work overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Mirada, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
