Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a higher-level Assembly Technician, where you will engage in the assembly and inspection of small wafer and sensor components for the semiconductor industry. This role involves a variety of tasks, providing an exciting and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble small wafer and sensor components using a microscope and tweezers for 30% of the day.
+ Participate in the inspection process, including writing up First Articles and conducting in-process and final inspections under microscope and vision scope.
+ Perform wire bonding, packaging, documentation, and preparation for shipping.
+ Work in a cleanroom environment and be comfortable with its protocols.
+ Retrieve work orders from the computer system and perform documentation using computer software.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in micro assembly (medical, electronic, or semiconductor).
+ Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and process sheets.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
+ Experience in writing processes and performing documentation in online computer systems.
+ Certified or experienced in following strict procedures.
+ Must be a US Citizen (highest level ITAR).
+ Experience in performing multiple processes within the assembly process.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Wire Bond experience is a significant advantage.
+ Experience as a Lead or Trainer.
+ Quality Inspection experience, including First Articles, in-process, or final inspections.
+ Technician or process-level experience is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a remarkably clean environment with a focus on R&D. Embrace a culture where you wear many hats and take ownership. Our environment includes a machine shop, cleanroom, lab area, and general assembly area, all maintaining a clean and quiet atmosphere. The shift hours are 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime. Initially, this position is part-time (20-30 hours per week) due to contract delays, with the potential to transition to full-time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
