Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic responsible for both preventative and reactive mechanical and basic electrical maintenance. You will work with a variety of equipment, including band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, presses, slitters, grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, and robotic systems. Your responsibilities will include mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, as well as maintenance tasks such as lubing, greasing, and checking componentry for wear and problems.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication and greasing of machinery.

+ Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans.

+ Utilize basic electrical knowledge to handle 480v 3-phase tasks, including LOTO, volt meter usage, and replacement of breakers, fuses, and sensors.

+ Operate and maintain equipment such as ABB/Fanuc/Motoman Robots and large-scale presses.

+ Log work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance using a tablet.

+ Train on the 1st shift as required.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Basic electrical knowledge of 480v 3-phase systems.

+ Ability to use own basic hand tools; power and specialty tools will be provided.

+ Strong math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Journeyman Millwright certification.

+ Fabrication experience, including welding and metalworking.

+ PLC knowledge, particularly with Allen Bradley or Siemens systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
