Job Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Job Description

This position involves a blend of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, primarily as a delivery driver for specialty deliveries. Warehouse tasks include picking orders, putting away orders, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining cleanliness. Driving is limited to routes within a 50-mile radius and involves delivering electrical products to customers using 24 and 26 ft box trucks. Driving schedules will be communicated the night before.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately.

+ Load and unload trucks with precision and care.

+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

+ Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods to customers.

+ Plan and manage delivery routes independently.

+ Perform all warehouse duties as required when not driving.

+ Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Essential Skills

+ At least 6 months of driving experience with a non-CDL box truck.

+ Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck.

+ Proficiency with RF scan gun and inventory management.

+ Strong logistics and transport skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Customer service oriented.

+ Tenure of more than a year in previous roles is preferred.

Work Environment

Located in Harrisburg, PA, this role requires flexibility with shifts starting as early as 5:00 am. Drivers must be open to shifts as early as 2:00 am. The typical workday lasts at least 8 hours. Attire includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a shirt or hoodie, with company shirts provided upon permanent employment. Shorts are not permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
