Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker who will follow work instructions to operate machines and testing equipment for building and assembling quality pumps. This role involves learning to gauge products, moving materials and parts within the work area, maintaining production and quality documentation, understanding quality alerts, repairing defective production parts, and analyzing defects for corrective actions.

Responsibilities

+ Operate all machines and testing equipment as per work instructions.

+ Learn and apply gauging techniques for product quality assessment.

+ Move materials and replenish stock within the work area.

+ Maintain accurate production, quality, and equipment documentation.

+ Understand and respond to quality alerts, reporting issues to the team lead.

+ Repair defective or rejected production parts on a daily basis.

+ Analyze defects and assist in corrective action programs.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing with at least 2 years in production, operator, or assembler roles.

+ Assembly experience in manufacturing environments.

+ Ability to lift 40 lbs and maneuver pumps for shipping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Gauge experience is a plus.

The plant operates with major automotive companies like Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA, focusing on efficient hybrid and electrified powertrains.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
