Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be involved in manufacturing carpeted products for the automotive industry. This full-time, long-term position offers you the chance to contribute to the production process by loading and unloading materials and assemblies into presses, performing inspections, and producing formed and trimmed products.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload materials and assemblies into the presses.

+ Perform inspections on products to ensure quality standards.

+ Produce formed and trimmed carpet assemblies for automotive use.

+ Handle carpet assemblies weighing 10-15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during material handling.

+ Participate in training to become efficient in various roles.

Essential Skills

+ Stable work history with at least 1-2 years in previous jobs.

+ Reliable and good attendance with no lateness or call-ins.

+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in manufacturing, inspection, loading, trimming, unloading, and assembly.

+ Production experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30000.00 - $30000.00/yr.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Assembler for our 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a full-time, long-term position manufacturing carpeted products for the automotive industry. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, consistently working 8 or 10-hour days and six days a week. Initial training will be on the 1st shift for one week. The role involves loading and unloading materials and assemblies into presses, performing inspections, and producing formed/trimmed products.
