Job Title: Millwright Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team in a dynamic and rapidly expanding family-owned business. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in machinery setup, maintenance, and repair, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to work with complex mechanical systems and advance within the company.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and assemble new machines and equipment.
+ Perform routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
+ Read blueprints and manuals for proper installation and repair.
+ Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
+ Rig and move heavy equipment using cranes, hoists, and other machinery.
Essential Skills
+ 5-10 years of previous millwright experience.
+ 5-10 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
+ 5-10 years of machine installation experience.
+ 3-5 years of previous leadership experience.
+ Strong problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to work with complex mechanical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to operate calipers and micrometers.
+ Ability to operate overhead cranes.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
+ Troubleshooting and diagnosing machine issues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conover, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
