Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, exhaust equipment, and other building equipment within a facility. This role involves troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls, performing necessary repairs, and maintaining HVAC systems as part of the facility's preventive maintenance program. Your professional competence and attention to detail will ensure that all HVAC systems function at optimal levels, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment and controls.
+ Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to identify and resolve issues.
+ Perform necessary repairs and maintenance as part of a preventive maintenance program.
+ Ensure all HVAC systems function optimally for safety and comfort.
+ Demonstrate professional competence and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in HVAC systems and mechanical operations.
+ Experience with preventive maintenance, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, and BMS.
+ MA Refrigeration license required.
+ 3-5 years HVAC experience.
+ Experience with chillers, cooling towers, control systems, and pumps.
+ Ability to troubleshoot, perform general maintenance, and service HVAC systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Life science or pharma experience is a plus.
+ Maintain a high level of customer service.
+ Experience with central chiller plant onsite.
+ Knowledge of building automation, ductwork, fire systems, and VFD.
+ Comfortable with on-call duties.

Work Environment
Work at the Breakthrough Properties Life Science Campus at Harvard, a 500,000 square feet facility with lab space, though entry into labs is not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $112000.00 - $116000.00/yr.
