Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an Assembler, you will play a vital role in supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. You will apply job skills and company policies to complete a variety of tasks, acquiring a working knowledge of product flow and the impact of quality. This position involves routine assignments where limited judgment is required, and you will operate within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Read and follow job instructions for specific assignments.

+ Document any defects found in parts as per the 'see something, say something' policy.

+ Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts are in good condition.

+ Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Phillips screwdrivers.

+ Assist in cross-training focus factory members as instructed.

+ Operate within established company policies and seek approval for deviations.

Essential Skills

+ 6 months of manufacturing experience.

+ Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and write for documentation purposes.

+ Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined, preferably with a background in manufacturing.

+ Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift.

+ Capability to frequently reach at the waist and occasionally above the head.

+ Ability to carry up to 10 lbs and lift up to 45 lbs.

+ Comfortable frequently pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and stooping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
