Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in the production team, ensuring that all safety and quality guidelines are followed while assisting with the preparation of the production line for runs. You will operate production equipment, handle raw materials, and maintain cleanliness in the production and warehouse areas.
Responsibilities
+ Follow all safety and quality guidelines.
+ Assist in preparing production line for runs, including proper safety checks and staging of raw materials.
+ Help with production counts, quality checks, and downtime recording.
+ Operate all production equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets.
+ Properly handle raw materials.
+ Assist in identifying potential quality issues.
+ Escalate issues to Operator, Production Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager as needed.
+ Maintain production and warehouse areas in a proper state of cleanliness.
+ Follow all SOPs and adhere to certifications such as Organic, Kosher, HACCP, and SQF.
+ Maintain 5S in the production department.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements.
+ Basic reading and math skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to lift 55 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.
+ Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training provided as necessary).
+ Basic computer skills; Redzone experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment
The team works from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime on Fridays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
