Production Associate in Nashville, TN

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production associates to join our team and work across various departments within our plant. As a production associate, you will be responsible for maintaining production goals in your designated department under the guidance of supervisors. Your duties may include machine operation, visual quality inspection, assembly, and packing products for shipment. You will receive cross-training in different departments, and must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machinery and equipment in your assigned department.

+ Perform visual quality inspections to ensure product standards are met.

+ Assemble components as required by production specifications.

+ Pack products efficiently for shipment.

+ Maintain production goals and adhere to safety regulations.

+ Be flexible and willing to work in different departments as needed.

Essential Skills

+ General production and labor skills.

+ Experience in assembly, manufacturing, and packaging.

+ Machine operation and inspection capabilities.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices like tape measures.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.

+ Familiarity with union environments is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
