Description

The PLC Electrical Technician is accountable for installing, maintaining, fixing, and repairing PLC-controlled equipment within the industrial electrical cabinet manufacturing plant

This includes assisting with the machinery used in the production process

Install, configure, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated equipment

Tackle and repair PLC-controlled machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance

Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions

Perform preventative maintenance on PLC systems and related components

Document all maintenance activities and repairs in accordance with company procedures

Assist with the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new equipment

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, diagrams and documentation of PLC systems as well as work safely with power tools and electrical equipment

Ability to perform basic mechanical work

Additional Skills & Qualifications

10-15 years of electrical maintenance experience preferred

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in electrical technology or a related field

Proven experience working with PLCs, industrial controls, and electrical panels

Outstanding solving and diagnostic skills

Knowledge of industrial safety procedures

Excellent communication and partnership skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
