Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves operating a forklift, unloading trucks, scanning items into inventory, and various manual tasks such as lifting, opening boxes, and moving furniture. You will also assist other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Operate stand-up order picker to pull and put away furniture.

+ Unload trucks and scan items into inventory.

+ Handle tasks including lifting heavy items, opening boxes, and unwrapping sofas.

+ Move furniture and sweep warehouse.

+ Help other departments with various tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

+ Attention to detail and safety.

+ Experience with forklift operation is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, and general labor is beneficial.

+ No specific experience required, but forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a large showroom and a storage warehouse. The area is temperature-controlled and clean, providing a comfortable setting for your tasks. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Itasca, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
