Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Description

Join a leading distribution company as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, where you will play an integral role in maintaining and optimizing the automation systems within our new facility. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment including sortation systems, box makers, pack formers, and more, ensuring seamless operations in a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and plant equipment.

+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production as well as scheduled maintenance repairs.

+ Utilize mechanic skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, make adjustments, or recommend subcontractors for issues.

+ Responsible for preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and troubleshooting in both old and new facilities during transition.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems with a strong understanding of automation equipment.

+ Experience with facility and equipment maintenance in large facilities.

+ Competence in working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and material handling equipment.

+ Understanding of mechanical components like hydraulics, heavy pneumatics, conveyors, and material handling equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.

+ Understanding of 3-phase 480-volt electrical systems.

+ Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.

+ Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious 500,000 square foot facility dedicated to distributing Dell products. Expect a dynamic environment with considerable walking and indoor activities, except for HVAC duties. Join a team with a maintenance supervisor and two technicians, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with minimal overtime.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
